Boys Volleyball

Boys Volleyball

Boys’ Volleyball is open to boys in grades 3-8. They compete in the Boys’ Western Athletic Conference (BWAC) in both instructional and competitive teams. Boys’ volleyball at St. Jude continues to see impact from its former players in high school within the Greater Catholic League (GCL). The GCL prides itself as being among the best for volleyball in the state of Ohio.  If you’ve never watched highly competitive volleyball, check out the volleyball videos here

At St. Jude, we start the boys off early and focus on building the fundamentals they will need when they get older.  Working on fundamentals and playing on nets that many of the younger boys can’t get up over is not always a lot of fun to watch and doesn’t really do the sport justice.

These videos will give you a flavor for what we’re working towards and show you how fun the sport can be once the boys master all of the skills (and grow taller!).

Additional opportunities are available through local boys volleyball clubs.
