Boys Basketball

Boys’ Basketball is for boys in grades 2-12 and ranges in price from $40-$75, depending on the grade of the player. Players in grades 3-12 compete in the Western Basketball Conference (WBC). More information can be found at www.wbcbasketball.com.  Boys in 2nd grade compete in the St. Bernard league. Grades 2-4 are instructional basketball. Grades 5-8 offer different competition levels based on skill.

Tryouts

Tryouts for grades 3-8 take place in the beginning of October.

Game Season

The season for grades 3-8 runs from the beginning of November to the beginning of March.

Second grade play starts in the middle of December.

A thorough background check is required for all those employed or volunteering to work with youth or vulnerable adults as a cleric, at a parish or school, as an Archdiocesan employee or at an Archdiocesan institution. All volunteers and employees are required to complete the electronic/online background check through SELECTION.com prior to beginning their volunteer activity or employment. In addition to the electronic/online background check, employees are required to complete manual fingerprinting and submit a B4 form before begin- ning their employment at an Archdiocesan parish, school, or institution.
