After School Care

The St. Jude After School Care program is a self-supporting service to our St. Jude School parents.

Our After School Care Program provides supervision and structure for students of all ages (Grades K-8).  We provide a snack, homework assistance/tutoring ,  and play time for students.  Currently we have 1 aftercare assistant for every 5 students. The program provides care for students from dismissal until 6 pm in the St. Jude Cafeteria, science lab, gym and/or outdoors.

Daily Schedule

2:30-3:00 - Snack/ relaxation (Snack consists of fresh fruit and cookie/cracker/pretzels; water, white or chocolate milk to drink.)
2:30-3:30 - Tutoring Available
3:00-4:00 - Playtime (gym or outdoors, weather permitting)
4:00-5:00 - Homework
5:00-6:00 - Free choice of crafts, games, puzzles, play, reading, or homework

Download St. Jude After School Care Registration

A thorough background check is required for all those employed or volunteering to work with youth or vulnerable adults as a cleric, at a parish or school, as an Archdiocesan employee or at an Archdiocesan institution. All volunteers and employees are required to complete the electronic/online background check through SELECTION.com prior to beginning their volunteer activity or employment. In addition to the electronic/online background check, employees are required to complete manual fingerprinting and submit a B4 form before begin- ning their employment at an Archdiocesan parish, school, or institution.
