Mrs. Louise Gunn

I feel so blessed to be a part of the St. Jude family!  This will be my second year as a bulldog and I am honored to be working as an Intervention Specialist.  I graduated from Mount St. Joseph University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Special Education.  I received my Master of Education degree from Xavier University.  I have taught various grade levels throughout my career as a regular education teacher and an intervention specialist.  For the past three years, I have taught at Skyward Academy, a customized school program for students with various learning challenges and gifts.  I enjoy working at Glenwood Gardens, a Hamilton County park, during my summers.  I have taught the children’s nature programs and love caring for the garden.  I enjoy reading, gardening, spending time with my family, and camping when I'm not teaching.

A thorough background check is required for all those employed or volunteering to work with youth or vulnerable adults as a cleric, at a parish or school, as an Archdiocesan employee or at an Archdiocesan institution. All volunteers and employees are required to complete the electronic/online background check through SELECTION.com prior to beginning their volunteer activity or employment. In addition to the electronic/online background check, employees are required to complete manual fingerprinting and submit a B4 form before begin- ning their employment at an Archdiocesan parish, school, or institution.
