Mrs Lori Tranter
I have been a member of the St. Jude community as a parent, volunteer, and a kindergarten aide! I earned a BA in English from the University of Dayton, but I have enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom for the past eight years. Both of my children attended Creative Preschool and I served as President of the Board and Carnival Co-Chair during that time. Since my children have moved on to St. Jude, I have remained involved by volunteering and serving as Hospitality Chair on the PTO. I am a first-generation west sider -- my maternal grandparents moved to Sao Paolo, Brazil from Fuscaldo, Italy, where my mom was born and lived until the age of eleven when her family immigrated to the United States. My mom met my dad while vacationing and visiting family in Fuscaldo. He moved to Cincinnati in 1978 and they were married shortly thereafter. I am very proud of my Italian heritage! I have been married to my wonderful husband for ten years and as mentioned previously, we have two beautiful children. My favorite activities include shopping, traveling, decorating my home for the holidays, and spending time with family and friends. I'm looking forward to a fun and enriching year with the incoming kindergarten class!
